Ash is a handsome Blue Merle Shetland Sheepdog. He is larger than his breed typically is and is often mistaken for a small Rough Collie. He has very glamorous long hair and has one ear up and one down, which gives him character and a sweet expression.
Ash has a bombproof and incredibly good-natured temperament and is never phased by anything. He is excellent with people of all ages, other dogs and any other animal from large to small.
Ash's owner and trainer is professional dog trainer Lucy Heath, who reached the finals of Britain's Got Talent 2016 with one of her other dogs, Trip Hazard. Ash competes in grade 4 agility, Intermediate level in Heelwork to Music Freestyle & is a Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen.
Ash knows an extensive list of tricks & is excellent at holding a pose. He can also work at a distance. He is clicker trained & loves to work for food. His ability to catch treats from any distance is quite impressive!
Walk backwards around something
Weave through legs/arms/poles/people
Jump over or through anything
Do a flip off the handler
Climb into a bag/suitcase
And many more...
Ash can be trained specific skills upon request.
He has lots of acting & modelling experience having acted in adverts for pet products including the Foobler and the Anxiety Wrap, as well as adverts & shoots for The Company of Animals.
Ash would be suitable for most roles and would be the perfect choice for roles working with other animals.
