Scruffy is an unusual male mix breed dog being Border Collie cross Golden Retriever.  He has a brindle coat clearly showing the gold tones from the Retriever & the black & white markings from the Collie mix. He is a stunningly unique chap with a great temperament. This mature boy is very food orientated & therefore very keen to learn. He is so easy trained & picks up new behaviours easily.

He loves fly ball, agility & responds to clicker & whistle training/recall. Scruffy has great basic obedience & will respond well to commands from his handler or even a stranger/actor.

This pooch has stills photography experience & excelled in taking direction well & from a distance.

Scruffy worked with a film school and was one of the main characters in the film ‘The Adventures of Jake & Rusty Rogers’ which required Scruffy to form a bond with a young boy and take direction from him as well as bark on command and follow the young boy through a forest. Scruffy did a fantastic job with no issues on set and was loved by all.

In all, he is well socialised with other animals loving other dogs & people of all ages; being relaxed & gentle with all that he meets. He works as a Pets as Therapy Dog means he is always giving & receiving love to all that he meets.
