Weimaraners are classic German dogs that boast large bodies and short grey coats. These dogs love the company of people and will tolerate other animals if well-socialised. As an animal talent, Weimaraners are fantastic. Their striking looks and love of people have made them popular as both dog models and animal actors. Additionally, their unique grey colouring is a favourite of many canine fans. It has proven so popular that fans have given them a unique nickname; “the grey ghost”.
The Weimaraner is a friendly, intelligent dog who loves people and children. They are super-loyal to the people closest to them. The Weimaraner dog is great to be around because they will always be there for you with open arms if given half the chance! Weimaraner dogs are usually around 59 – 67cm high and weigh 25 – 40 kg.
The Weimaraner is a German breed of dog that was first bred by nobility in the late 1800s. They are known for their intelligence and loyalty, which made them perfect hunting companions for big games. Weimaraners are often called “grey ghosts” because they can disappear from the owner’s view on foggy days.
At Urban Paws, we undertake a range of medical health checks on our Weimaraner breeds to make sure they’re always in prime condition to take on a range of different environments. This means all our dog breeds are fully trained and safe to work with, in modelling or acting locations.
